DAY ONE : PUSH THE BUTTON

Today, I had to keep the promise I made to myself. Every day I told myself, I would do it tomorrow. But tomorrow never came. This weekend, it became next weekend, which became next month, next year. Here I am years later, keeping the promise I made to myself in 2009.

But that is all water under the bridge, I am not looking back but moving forward. Scared as hell but moving forward. Taking the first proverbial step in my journey of a thousand miles, but it is still one step more than I took yesterday.

Here is what I want you to know. It does not matter how long ago you promised yourself. How scared you are to fulfill that promise. It doesn't matter that "it's not the right moment" and that "the world has gone crazy". All that matters is you, right now, in this moment with me, and together we ARE gonna do it. We are gonna take that first step of faith and God is gonna meet us with the next 99.

We can do this... scared, tired, broke, older, young, employed, unemployed, single, married, divorced children or not. We "gat" this. Whatever "it" is, starting your own business, writing that book, losing weight, going back to school, or simply removing the facade and being authentically, unapologetically you. NOW is the time. THIS is the moment.

It is OK. I am scared too but take my hand and journey along with me. We can and we will do "it" TOGETHER. Close your eyes, take that first step of Faith and just PUSH THE BUTTON!
